The Prairie Riders Saddle Club lost a member, Larry Koenig, on December 28, 2009. You can read his obituary at hartquistfuneral.com . Larry will be missed.

The first meeting for the Prairie Riders Saddle Club will be Sunday, March 28,2010, at the Pizza Ranch in Pipestone, MN. At this meeting we will elect officers for 2010 and schedule saddle club events for the summer.  Anyone interested in joining this club is welcome to come to this meeting. Our past events have included a Ranch Rodeo in June, usually scheduled with the Water Tower Festival.  This year in July we are planning a trip to the Black Hills. In August our Fun Horse Show is a big hit with everyone.

Membership fee for the saddle club is $5.00 per year, per family.  Membership runs January thru December. Once a year we get together and enjoy a meal paid for by the saddle club. ( catch to this is, you would of had to help at one or more of our events, or donated and helped the club in some way during the year).
